Another great week was had! We concluded the shorter week with the Fun Run- it was a great success. We all had fun participating and we raised quite a bit of money for the school. Thank you to everyone who had a hand it the success! We started the eSpark trek- they are learning how to log-in and learning the way it all works. This week will be spent outlining all of the details and expectations. Next week we will take off! They are SO excited!! Have a great long weekend! We've also been blending sounds into words and writing CVC words. Everyone is doing fantastic- and it is so fun to see the lightbulbs that light up everyday! In Reading Street, here are the objectives we are working with this week: Comprehension: Compare/Contrast Phonics: /a/ spelled Aa Popcorn Words: have, is Phonemic Awareness: initial and medial /a/ Writing: We will continue to work through our Small Moment stories. We are working on drawing clear pictures, labeling using LOTS of sounds, and trying to include a sentence explaining the Small Moment. A Small Moment is a true story of something they've done.
