Finally had a few days of nice weather this week! We got in a few days of outside recess...its about time! We kicked off our Pet Rock project. This is a new project this year. I collaborated with a kindergarten teacher from Pleasant Ridge and we've created a hands-on learning unit, encompassing creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking...and persuasive writing :) It is going to be a LOT of fun- the kids had a blast today.
